Watercolor bellydancers

Today i just finished these 2 bellydancers,took me 2 days to finish both,scan them adjust etc.I'm going to print them for a little marketplace with this theme.The first one will be 20x30 and the second one will be 10x15 postcards.I hope they will turn out good at the printer.

These are made entirely in watercolors.

Octopus print + Christmas illustration

Last week i printed the mustache octopus for myself and it came out great.

It's size 20x30 premium photo paper Fujicolor 225gr.

I also did a christmas illustration for a client with two different cities Bahrain and Dubai.

Some new characters

Children lullabies illustrations

Considering right now i don't have anything new i can show i will post these fast simple illustrations i did for a client.For all of them except one i went with the first sketch i did and first color,had to be fast.

For the last 3 collages i've tried to put them in an order that would make sense as a story but each illustration are actually like covers for children lullabies in french.

See if you can recognize  any of them.

Inktober and other characters

Hey.

Long time no post.Today i just managed to scan the last 2 drawings i did for inktober day 17-18 where i unfortunately stopped.Maybe next year i'll do better or i'll do my own ink month.

I'm also posting a sketch i did this week in one of my sketchbooks and a character i started a long time ago(in february) but never got around to finish it,that doesn't mean that now it's finished but i just called it done because i don't feel it anymore.

I will follow up in the next days with some 20 fast children illustrations i did for a client this past week.Be sure to check out.

Inktober time!Day one

This year i decided i would do the inktober challenge in which you must create an inked drawing each day of october,you may draw the pencil first and then ink.

For day one i did two pieces.

A pirate i finished coloring.It's in the same vein as the little children characters i did few posts below.

Turtle and kitty

Today the topic was Ninja turtle.What you see in this sketch page are some pose variations and the last of the small sketches i wanted to remake it into the final one but unfortunately i didn't get the same attitude and didn't like the expression so i painted the small one.

I do like children book style drawings and animation in general and while other styles attract me as well this feels for now the most natural to pursue

I've decided to follow this type of work instead of depressing myself because i don't have YET enough skill for realistic illustrations.After all i love cute stuff.

These 2 chacarters are made as well for the same goup on facebook and as you can see here and in the other post about this group ,i did tried to focus on a more cartoony style even though each drawing has it's style.
